About Benefit Calendar

Benefit Calendar publishes the dates and dollar amounts that matter to people on Social Security, Medicare and retirement accounts: when payments arrive, what premiums cost, how much you must withdraw, and when refunds are due.

Benefit Calendar exists to answer one question plainly: when does the money arrive, and how much is it. Every date and dollar figure is checked against the original SSA, CMS, IRS or USDA document before it is published, re-checked by a second automated pass, and the source is linked next to it.

Review and verification

Articles on this site are not reviewed by a licensed Medicare agent, CPA or financial planner. Instead, every dollar amount, percentage and date is stored in a data file with the URL of the official government document it comes from, the exact sentence quoted from that document, and the date we last re-checked it. Before an article is published, an automated second pass re-opens every cited document and confirms that each figure and quote is still there. If we cannot find a figure at its official source, we do not publish it. See the fact-check policy for the full procedure.
